This has been mostly a summer project of figuring out what voicebanks I want first, ones later to come, songs I plan to make, etc. I definitely do have a plan of all the music as well as VOCALOIDs I plan to get. I once wrote this, it may be a bit outdated but here you Emfrbl My only other peice of advice is don't expect instant popularity or success.

There are freebie software you'll have to explore, so there is hope but I can't think of any off my head. IT comes with 4 vocals, you need a DAW for instrumentals.

Second question, does VOCALOID 5 come with any software that makes instrumental tracks? Right now, I only have GarageBand on my phone lol, and I'm NOT LOOKING TO SPEND EXTRA MONEY on professional music-making software for my instrumental tracks if VOCALOID 5 doesn't come with such features. I don't know what languages you know, but people often buy Japanese vocaloids because they view Vocaloid as a toy, then get bored of it later making it a waste of time and money. Dontbuy Japanese Vocaloids, Chinese, Spanish or Korean unless you know the language, if you must look at bilinguals first as at least you have English if Japanese fails you. Covers will only take you so far and can have issues with copyright depending on cover. Music lessons are essential, as is a DAW too.
I'm currently working on an UTAU song with a friend as well as one on my own.) I'm not like a professional composer or anything who's taken professional classes, but I know the basics. (Also, yes, I do have experience making music.
I wanted to make sure you guys know that I don't want to get a separate paid for instrumental program if VOCALOID5 doesn't come with one.) Sometimes people skim over comments/posts on here, don't read them completely, answer/reply by telling them to get x y and z, and miss the part where people are saying that they don't want to spend money on x y and z.
